Meetings viewer - agent setup

Owner: the frontend team that maintains this app.

What exists today

One file: AGENTS.md at the repo root, carrying a single rule:

This version of Next.js has breaking changes - APIs, conventions, and file structure may all differ from a model's training data. Read the relevant guide in node_modules/next/dist/docs/ before writing any code.

That is the whole setup. No skills, no subagents, no hooks - and that's fine. One true rule, loaded automatically into every session, beats a speculative library of conventions nobody has tested.

Why that rule earns its place

It is the ideal memory entry: something every session must always know, that is cheap to load (one line), and that prevents a concrete, repeated failure mode - an agent confidently writing Next.js 14 patterns into a Next.js 16 app.

What to add next

The candidate material for this repo's first skill already exists - the docs-platform standing rules that govern contributions to this site:

  • Every page declares its RepoScope callout.
  • Commands are copy-pasteable as written - no placeholder flags without an explanation of what to substitute.
  • Dark-mode parity checked before merge.

That is a real skill's worth of material - a packaged "contributing to these docs" checklist - sitting unpackaged in the playbook. When someone packages it as a SKILL.md in this repo, this page links to it and summarizes intent in two sentences, per the method.
